Since 2021, Fr. DeAscanis has been serving as pastor of the Pastorate of St. Louis in Clarksville and St. Francis of Assisi.  Before entering seminary, he worked for four years as a civil engineer. He attended both Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Maryland and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. He was ordained a priest in 2004. He also serves as chaplain of the Catholic Medical Association in Baltimore.
